MEDIA FACT SHEET- Johnson’s Log Home & Timber frame Experience- PENNSYLVANIA

EVENT: We are excited to be returning to York. The log and timber frame home phenomenon is spreading across the country, demonstrating growth that has doubled the size of the industry since 1988.  Today about a half-million Americans own a log or timber frame home, usually as their primary residence.  Now the Central Pennsylvania region has a log home show to call its own.

DATES & TIMES: FRIDAY, JANUARY 26: 12NOON - 7PM, SATURDAY, JANUARY 27: 10AM-7PM, SUNDAY, JANUARY 28: 10AM-4PM

ADMISSION: Adults: $10.00, Children (under eighteen years): Free when accompanied by an adult. Admission valid for all three Show days.

EXHIBITS: The Show will have something for everyone, with every resource imaginable under one roof.  Exhibitors will be on hand to assist visitors with construction and financing questions.  In addition, there will be great décor ideas, log home accessories and one-of-a-kind furniture.  Those looking for home design inspiration will find a wealth of information.  Experienced homebuilders and first-timers alike can take in a variety of seminars delivered by keynote speakers representing the Show’s main exhibitors. 
The Show presents a wonderful opportunity for visitors to meet the industry leaders and have all their questions answered in one convenient location.  They can attend daily free seminars on such topics as financing options, choosing a log or timber frame home company and what to look for in a home package.  Visitors can bring their own home plans and ideas and have them reviewed by industry experts during the information-packed weekend!

SPECIAL FEATURES: "Living & Decorating Your Dream Home" Presented by Susan Welch Heeney, ASID, featured guest designer from HGTV and HGTV.com, shows you the tricks of the trade for decorating and living in a log or timber home. Whether you're looking to build or already built your dream home, you won't want to miss this "Main Stage" event!
Friday is also Industry Awareness Day.  This is an opportunity for anyone involved in the building business to get a glimpse of what the growing log and timber frame home industry is all about.  Upon presentation of a business card, industry members receive $5.00 off admission.

Live Demonstrations:  Half Log Wall Assembly  - Watch out for Sawdust! A construction crew takes you through the process of building a 1/2 log wall system from applying the corners to finishing out a window. Presented by Expedition Log Homes
