A trip to Johnson's Log Home & Timber Frame Experience can go a long way toward turning your home dreams and visions into reality—so come prepared. If you’ve clipped certain log or frame styles from magazines as a home “scrapbook,” have it with you. If you’ve purchased a site, bring your surveyed drawings. And, by all means, if you have your home design, pack the blueprints. But, wherever you are in the journey, just get a good night’s sleep, put on your comfortable shoes, and get ready to learn the lingo, make new friends, and find yourself well-educated and further along your custom home path by the time you head back to your car, even after just a portion of a show.
